We were thrilled to be invited along to the special launch of this summer’s Cirquoise at @gatesgardencentre near Oakham – and several generations of the family went along to enjoy the show! Under the traditional Big Top, Cirquoise brings together a brilliant ensemble of performers with Italian and British circus heritage for an hour of contemporary family circus. Expect hilarious clowning, breathtaking acrobatics, trampolining, trapeze, juggling and some seriously jaw-dropping talent – including Mexican juggling sensation Roberto Carlos, fresh from Cirque du Soleil. And the verdict from our family? A huge hit! The children and adults were laughing their heads off one minute and gasping in amazement the next. The grandchildren talked non-stop all the way home about their favourite acts – from the trampolines to the ‘bendy man’! LAUNCHING OUR NEW WALKS BOOK, COUNTRY RAMBLES, AT THE RUTLAND COUNTY SHOW! What a brilliant day we had on Sunday at The Rutland County Show @ The Rutland Showground, launching our fabulous new book, Country Rambles: 20 Best Walks Around Stamford, Rutland, the Welland and Nene Valley 🎉🥾 After months of writing, designing and producing the book, creating banners, signs and tote bags for the stand and even popping up to White Goose Flower Farm (@whitegooseflowerfarm) in Little Dalby to gather beautiful local flowers for the display, it was such a joy to finally launch everything at the Show – and we were completely blown away by the wonderful reception we received throughout the day. Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us, bought a copy, chatted about favourite walks and shared such lovely feedback. It really meant a lot. A huge thank you too to our sponsors, Three Bridges Private GP Practice (@threebridges.health) in Harringworth, for supporting the project.
